Adoptions are possible across the U.S., and very reasonably priced transportation can be arranged to most States.
Some of these horse have been rescued from auctions or feedlots, so those horses' past or exact breed and age might be unknown and can not be guaranteed !!! Most PMU horses (not all !) have been unhandled most of their lives. They have been halter-trained just recently and are very green for the most part. Some come along quicker than others, but NONE are aggressive or dangerous - just scared, nervous and uncertain at times. If you plan on adopting a PMU horse, you must be qualified, committed and confident to handle such a green horse and be prepared for any and all challenges that come with such an adoption.
Note:Inquiring about a certain horse does NOT mean we can "reserve" this horse for you right then - horses can only be "reserved" if you are pre-approved and we have received the signed adoption agreement and a deposit !! Time is of the essence for these horses so we can not afford to lose any time or potential adopters, like we have been so many times in the past.... We'd like to ask for your understanding in this matter. Thank you.
