  • Percheron Mare
  • Born 2002
  • Grey - turning white
  • Approx. 17 hands
  • Healthy and sound
  • UTD on vaccination, worming
  • Coggins tested on 6-8-2009
  • Friendly and affectionate
  • Knows all the basics (no saddle- or driving-training yet)
  • Halters, leads, ties, loads, stands for Vet
  • OK for the farrier with her fronts, but needs a little more training for her rear trim
  • Ready to be started under saddle or in harness !!
  • FOR LIGHT WORK or as a COMPANION only !!
  • One of her front legs is SLIGHTLY turned in (pigeon toed !?).....
  • ......but that is STRICTLY COSMETIC at this point.....
  • ...the hoof wears evenly and it causes her no problems (yet).
  • However, it would be better to "work" her as little as possible...
  • ...to prevent future lameness, pain, discomfort, and/or Arthritis.
  • Best friends with ANNIE
  • Currently located at a foster-home in Eldridge MO 65463

Adoption Fee:  $790

Foster-mom 6-8-2009: She has absolutely no lameness and if you didn’t look at it, her gait shows no sign of trouble.  Her hoof is properly shaped.  I’ve seen where they actually walk more on the side of their hoof and the hoof is mis-shapen.  Hers isn’t like that at all.

Foster-mom 6-11-2009: Kleoh is such a gentle soul. She's laid back and loving. She loves to lay her head on your chest and just snuggle. She may not be able to do a full day's work, but she will be a willing partner for anyone who understands this. Our farrier who is wonderful commented on how level her hooves wear in the front and thats a GOOD thing. He front legs may not be completely straight, but you wouldn't know it from her gait or soundness.
